Forklift Courses

The TLILIC0003 Licence to operate a forklift truck course will enhance your knowledge and experience of forklift operation in line with relevant State, WHS, and National Certification requirements. This course is for people who want to gain the skills and knowledge required to gain a High Risk Work licence to operate a forklift truck.

During training you will learn:

  • Standards and regulations
  • Personal and machine safety
  • Pre-operational checks
  • Capacity plates
  • Balance and stability
  • Loading and stacking
  • Attachments
  • Shut-down procedures
  • Practical forklift operation

After training, learners are assessed by a SafeWork NSW accredited assessor. The SafeWork NSW assessment comprises theory, calculation and practical components.

On successful completion participants are issued with 'Notice of Satisfactory Assessment' to lodge with SafeWork NSW and receive their High Risk Work licence.

We run 2 day and 3 day courses, for all levels of experience and knowledge. We keep the number of participants small to allow for more one-to-one practical training.
